On Sunday, April 24, there was great excitement as the second grade students at St. Patrick’s School made their First Communion. Students spent several months learning and preparing for this special moment in their faith journey. Dressed in their special attire and looking their best, they were filled with anticipation at this first opportunity to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. They continue to be excited about this special sacrament as they now can participate fully in the Eucharist and receive Jesus each time they attend Mass.

St. Patrick’s second graders who received First Communion are Madisyn Dagel, Angel Guadarrama, Anthony Murphy, Matthew Mwanje, Kaydence Poeckes, and Angel Robles.
